One of the best moments of the night was when Kimmel brought a donkey onstage that was identified as Jenny, the scene-stealing, finger-chewing creature Banshee of Inishrin, to applause from the film’s nominated star Colin Farrell, who blew a kiss from his seating position in the front row. “Jenny is not only an actor, she’s a certified emotional support ass, or at least that’s what we asked the airline to get her on the plane from Ireland. So if you’re feeling upset, or you didn’t win Whether you’re worried or you just love mules, feel free to come over and give her a hug.” If only, banshees Writer-director Martin McDonagh admitted backstage that the real Jenny was still back on the Emerald Isle—Oscar’s version was a hoax.
