Season 2 of the streamer’s comic adaptation will kick off on Thursday, April 27 with all eight episodes. The return of the show will mark the end of a 22-month hiatus, with season 1 returning in June 2021.

Here’s what to expect from Phase II, according to the official logline: “As a deadly new wave of sick bears emerge, Gus (Christian Convery) and a band of fellow hybrids are taken prisoner by General Abbott (Neil Sandilands) and The last man. In a quest to strengthen Shakti by finding a cure, the Abbot uses children as fodder for Dr. Aditya Singh’s (Adeel Akhtar) experiments, who sends his infected wife Rani (Aliza Vellani) Racing to the rescue. To protect his friends, Gus agrees to help Dr. Singh, who reveals his origins and his mother Birdie’s (Amy Seimetz) role in the events leading up to The Great Crumble. I embark on a dark journey.
Meanwhile, outside the Preserve, “Tommy Jappard (Nonso Anozi) and Amy Eden (Dania Ramirez) team up to free the Hybrid, a partnership that will be tested when Jappard’s secrets come to light. As in the past, As revelations threaten their chances of redemption in the present, Gus and his found family find themselves on a collision course with the Abbot and evil forces who seek to wipe them out once and for all.
