free agent linebacker Cole Holcomb is taking his talents to Pittsburgh.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pellicero, Holcomb and the Steelers have agreed to a three-year contract, pending materialization.
All contract agreements are pending a physical, but this could be the most important one for Holcomb, given he suffered a foot injury at the end of the week and had surgery in december, The Steelers’ medical staff will need to assure Holcomb will be well enough to execute the contract, but by all indications both the team and the player expect him to be ready to play this season.
The 26-year-old Holcomb was a 2019 fifth-round draft pick in Washington and played his entire career there, starting 48 games over four seasons.
