Although nothing has been confirmed, all signs currently point to Aaron Rodgers is going to be traded to the Jets soon.
It is supported by New York Targeted Receiver Allen Lazard, who shares a solid relationship with Rodgers.
Now reports are coming that another favorite target of Rodgers could be a way to hook Rodgers with the Jets.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets have Randall Cobb “on his radar” for the coming days of free agency.
Cobb rejoins the Packers in 2021 after spending one season with Dallas and one with Houston. Famously, Rodgers encouraged the Packers to bring back Cobb.
The receiver caught 28 passes for 375 yards with five touchdowns in 2021. Cobb caught 34 passes for 417 yards with one TD in 13 games last season.
Cobb, who turns 33 in August, has spent a total of 10 seasons with Rodgers since 2011.
