Michigan basketball fans fed up after Big Ten tournament loss to Rutgers

No. 8 seed Michigan was completely outplayed in the second half, taking the loss 62–50 loss to No. 9 Rutgers matchup at the United Center in Chicago.

The Wolverines, now 17–15, entered the game widely considered by experts to be among the “First Four Out” for the NCAA Tournament. His second half play didn’t help the cause.

Michigan held a 28–25 halftime lead, but scored a field goal in the first 19 minutes of the second half, and finished the second half shooting 4-for-21, a season-low for made baskets. The Wolverines were defeated by the Rebels, after a missed free throw shooter layup, and were completely outplayed by a Rutgers team they beat 58–45 on the road on February 23.

Michigan finishes the season 3-12 versus Quad I opponents, and looks set to miss March Madness for the first time since 2015.
