filming the sixth and final season of Crown Ongoing, with actors Ed McVie and Meg Bellamy photographed playing Prince William and the former Kate Middleton this week in St Andrews, Scotland.
The cameras rolled as the Emmy-winning show recreated an early part of the royals’ relationship, which began in the early 2000s, when they both attended the University of St Andrews.
McVey and Bellamy were filmed together and separately as young Will and Kate on a street.
When he was cast in September, netflix said Both actors were making their screen debuts in high-profile parts. The company noted that Bellamy submitted her audition tape in response to a casting call on social media.
The students who saw the cameras immediately alerted TikTok, which didn’t go down well with the actors at all.

Fans are used to seeing new actors. since Crown Claire Foy, Olivia Colman and Imelda Staunton all portray her, starting in 1952 at the beginning of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s reign, and the rest of the cast has been swapped.
