Banshee of Inishrin Breakout star makes surprise appearance on stage in 2023 oscar when the show host Jimmy Kimmel pulled out a four-legged cutie during Sunday night’s telecast — but EW has confirmed that the donkey on the show was not the same one used in the film.
Kimmel kicks out “Jenny” after highlighting a clip package Martin McDonaghBest Picture Nomination in a Directed Film.
“This is Jenny, one of the stars of Banshee of Inishrin, Jenny is not only an actor, she’s a certified emotional support ass — at least, that’s what we asked the airline to bring on the plane from Ireland,” Kimmel joked. “So, if you’re feeling upset. Or maybe you just love mules, feel free to come over and give her a hug.”

then he showed it to the costars Colin Farrell And Brendan Gleeson — of which Kimmel later introduced Janney as the man “whose finger you ate.”
In the 2022 film, Farrell’s Padrick’s beloved pet Jenny meets her untimely end after she chokes on one of Kolmes’ (Gleeson) fingers, leading to the pair’s bitter rift that serves as the film’s central story. The middle separates.
